Desarae Dee is a pianist, instrumental artist, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Ajax, Ontario.
With the ability to play and infuse multiple genres at once, she is a highly sought after pianist in the Greater Toronto Area. She has played for many current emerging Toronto artists and has an extensive musical resume as both a musician and an independent artist.
Possessing an “outside the box” musical thought process, she holds true to her unpredictable, spontaneous and non-traditional way of playing, which is an important part of her artistry. She is known for her passion-driven and soul-spirited personality that is distinctly displayed and communicated through her music.
Due to her unique and unusual chord structures and powerful melodic lines, she has been compared to and inspired by award-winning Jazz musician, Robert Glasper.
Desarae has been recognized as a very consistent artist and musician with a strong work ethic and a unique musical mind. She has built quite a name for herself and is highly regarded in the Toronto Urban and Gospel music community.
